The mobility project provides opportunity for harnessing cooperation in the sharing of resources for mutual benefit of the HEIs, students, staff (academic and administrative), communities and countries in concerned regions
Thus, the overall objective of this mobility project is to enable African Agricultural Universities to synergistically cooperate to conduct research and produce competent graduates to effectively contribute to improved food systems and agribusiness so as to respond to the challenges of food and nutrition insecurity, poverty and lack of employment in participating countries and regions. Specifically, the project will seek to achieve the following:
- Strengthen mobility flows of students and staff for university cross-learning, intercultural integration and internationalization in agribusiness and food systems training;
- Strengthen south-south universities linkages for improved delivery of learning in agribusiness and food systems;
- Enhance co-operation of African HEIs for harmonization of studies curricula and recognition of academic awards, and
- Strengthen collaboration between African and European Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
